Digital Awareness Programme and Free Clinic on International Day of Older Person

Regional Resource Training Centre (RRTC) for Senior Citizen, Mission Foundation Movement (MFM) organized a Digital Awareness programme cum Free Clinic on International Day of Older Person at Dawrpui Multipurpose Hall, Aizawl, Mizoram. The programme was attended by members of Mizo Upa Pawl (Mizo Senior Citizens) from various unit in Aizawl area.



Inspector MS Dawngliana, the 2nd Officer-in-Charge at the Cyber Crime Police Station, gave a presentation on cybercrime, focusing on how older individuals can become victims and ways to prevent it. Christina Zothanpuii, the Principal of MFM School of Nursing, also addressed the audience, discussing mental health and personal hygiene.



A free clinic was held during the afternoon session, where free medicine was distributed to those in attendance.  The program was an initiative of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
