Today at 11:00 AM, the Tamdil Management Committee held a meeting at the DC Conference Room, Saitual, chaired by Dr. Lalngura Tlau, the District Commissioner and Chairman.
During the meeting, Chairman Dr. Lalngura Tlau expressed his gratitude to those present and encouraged them to work towards fully developing Tamdil to better accommodate tourists and to improve the facilities for the public. He mentioned that with proper management, Tamdil could become a major source of livelihood for many.
In today’s meeting, the condition of Tamdil and the nearby government department properties were reviewed, along with discussions on the powers and responsibilities of the Tamdil Management Committee, the various planned initiatives, and sub-committee matters. Additionally, the Mission Foundation Movement presented their proposal for the Tamdil Eco-Tourism Project Budget. For this, they plan to seek funding through CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) channels, and discussions were held regarding the funding requirements and possible contributions from the Tamdil Management Committee to successfully implement the project.
