2024-25 Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) Annual Report was released today by Mamit Deputy Commissioner Pu K. Laltlawmlova at the DC Office Chamber. During the event, JSS Director Lalrinfeli presented a summary of the various initiatives carried out over the past year. JSS, which is funded by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and implemented by the Mission Foundation Movement, offers free vocational training to residents of Mamit District aged between 15 and 45 across different trades.
On the occasion, Pu K. Laltlawmlova also handed out certificates to successful trainees and, in his address, encouraged them to work with dedication to achieve their goals. JSS Mamit was recognized as a ‘Model JSS’ last year, having successfully trained around 1,800 beneficiaries. Additionally, since 2023, JSS Mamit has been serving as the Project Implementing Agency for the PM Vishwakarma scheme.
