Lalhriatpuia holds a Postgraduate degree in Political Science from Delhi University, where he developed a strong foundation in political theory, governance, and public administration. He has practical experience in data entry, having worked with the Health Department under the Government of Mizoram.
On April 22, 2025, he joined the Mission Foundation Movement as a MIS professional, further strengthening his expertise in data systems and organizational management. Lalhriatpuia currently resides in Bungkawn, Aizawl, with his family.
